Climate Change
Climate change is the single biggest threat that we are currently facing, and yet people still do not take it seriously. The fact that you are bored of seeing it all the time, is the very reason why you need to see it as it has not sunk in how important it is. My project aims to show all, how climate change tragedies connects to our everyday lives. Hopefully, impacting some of you who have not fully digested how dangerous and tragic climate change is. I want the body to represent a form of protest and raise awareness how dangerous it is getting. Banksy’s graffiti ‘I don’t believe in global warming’ has triggered me to create this project, in the hopes of merging the landscape with the human body to promote nature as an intrinsic part of mankind. These images are performance art pieces, representing air, fire, water and earth.
